Xtreme 4x4 Sport Events
After having competed in the Ateco Winch Challenge, and Rainforest International Challenge of Malaysia in 1998, David (MMM) Metcalfe began planning the first ARB Xtreme Winch Challenge, and with a crew of volunteers conducted the first ARB Xtreme Winch Challenge at Landcruiser Mountain Park.
The 10th Birthday of ARB Xtreme Winch Challenge Series will be held 26th - 28th March at Rover Park via Tenterfield NSW.The ARB Xtreme Winch Challenge Series was the first Winch Challenge Series conducted by the same Event Organizer in Australia.

No members of the 4WD Family are forgotten with Xtreme 4X4 Sport conducting many Events from the ARB XWC to David Metcalfe's 4WD Angel Adventure each. So there is something for everyone.

Round 1 ARB XWC
26 - 28 March 2010
Rover Park via Tenterfield.
This is XWC's 10th Birthday and if you are looking for some 4WD action over the weekend then Rover Park will be the place to be.
Friday night SS will commence at 1900hrs with a very quick sprint run to get the Teams warmed up. This will be followed by 2 SS.
Saturday the action will start at 0900hrs with 5SS.
Sunday will see the finale 2SS conducted with the last vehicle running no latter then 1400hrs followed by Presentation at 1500hrs.
Saturday night "Birthday Party" will be held at Drake Hotel. Lucky draw prizes will be drawn during the evening.
Food & cold drinks will be available during the weekend.

Well what a weekend it was, one word GREAT.
On behalf of Angel Flight Australia I would like to thank; The "Mini Muster Crew" of Lyall & Sue Barron, Peter Clark, Jacqui Butcher, Graeme & Cathy Brown, Darren & Lucy Burgess plus all their helpers who put the whole show together. Also a big thanks to the entertainers who donated their time yet again to put on a great show.
A big thanks to my catering crew of John Leeson, Bob & Heather Eddy, Alex & Renee Driscoll, Terry & Kellie Wesner and my better half Susan Metcalfe who all worked non stop over the weekend to keep people feed, thanks guys.
One person we cannot forget is Shane Harris and Trevor from Hartec Electrical who dropped everything on Friday afternoon to get us power to catering site so we could run our chip cookers, Thanks Shane & Trevor.
Total raised for Angel Flight Australia will be around $17000.
Next year will see the "Mini Muster" at a new & bigger venue, more on this later.
