At this moment in time 1415hrs 31st December 2010, I am looking back of what 2010 was:-

• January- just starting to wind up for a full 2010 after a good 2009
• February- Saw the WEC take hold in a lot of events in Qld and numbers were well down for the ARB XWC
• March - Happened but a bit quite, this was to happen again & again during the year
• April - Round 1 was finally held at Rover Park and it was a great weekend. Easter down to Sydney to visit friends
• May - Nothing flash
• June - Wedding Anniversary great night out in town
• July - Nothing flash
• August - Round 2 at City View, closest event I have had to Brisbane, turned out a good weekend. Fund Raiser for Angel Flight in Melbourne.
• September - To long ago to remember
• October - This is when it started too look good. Starting to get ready for our trip to Thailand, Sue and I were really looking forward to this one. This was to be our first true overseas holiday together.
• November- Thailand trip - unreal. Rod & Toy looked after us whilst there and we had a great time. Then we had to go home, bugga. A week after getting home I had a phone call informing me that I was to be Rod's codriver for the upcoming RFC, book a flight and get to Malaysia, you have a week to get there.
• December- On a plane to Singapore then another short flight to KL. Met up with Rod and drive back down to Johor (couple of hundred meters from Singapore) compete until the 13th and fly home on the 14th. Great event we managed to come 2nd in our Class & 2nd Electric Winch Class. I also managed to get hit by a falling tree, being knocked out and carried out of the jungle, put on a boat for 30k's picked up by an ambulance and taken to hospital arriving 10 hours after getting hit. Big thanks to all the Officials that carried me out, the boat crew, Doctors, Medics and all concerned to what has now been called "The Longest Night".
• At the moment still score in the ribs lower & upper back but getting better, now only need 2 pain killers a day.

Looking back over 2010 it was a good year after all I am still breathing, so what more could you ask for.

2011 is going to be a very big year:-

• January - Getting over Thailand, RFC Malaysia & Christmas
• February- Round 1 of Xtreme Winch Challenge at The Springs
• March - Heaps of work (I hope)
• April -  Brisbane 4WD Show, Mini Muster - Woodford, Easter which will mean a trip to Sydney with the dogs

So lets stop there for a while and see how that part of the year goes.
